FAQs
Can I bake sourdough without a Dutch oven?
Yes! The air fryer creates enough heat for a crisp crust.
Why is my sourdough dense?
Your starter may not be active enough or the dough under-proofed.
Can I make it whole wheat?
Yes—replace 30–50% of flour with whole wheat and add 1–2 tbsp water.
Which air fryer works best?
Basket or oven-style both work—just ensure airflow around the loaf.
